My professional journey has been one of continuous growth and exploration. It all began in 2012 when I graduated with a degree in English and cultural studies from Manchester Metropolitan University. Eager to kickstart my career, I moved back to London, where I delved into the world of Financial Services, working with renowned institutions like Deloitte and The RBS Group. The corporate hustle eventually led me to the public sector, where I obtained my PRINCE2 certification and developed a knack for business development. During this period, I had the opportunity to manage a diverse range of projects and learned first hand how changes in policy and legislation could significantly impact businesses, both financially and operationally.
In the last five years, I've taken on the role of a Senior Consultant, specialising in identifying and delivering commercial opportunities for clients in an ever-changing and sometimes challenging business environment.
I hold a firm belief that successful entrepreneurs and individuals are those who've led dynamic and multifaceted lives. My upbringing in London's vibrant Soho provided me with a rich tapestry of experiences, surrounded by eccentric characters with fascinating stories. This environment instilled in me a passion for storytelling and an unquenchable thirst to learn from others. Today, I empower individuals to harness their unique narratives to launch their own businesses.
In 2019, I embarked on an exciting new venture, entering an accelerator program to pursue my passion for healthy food creation, innovative packaging, and food waste reduction. This journey led to the development of frozen soup pods, a product aimed at making a positive impact.
During the lockdown, I decided to push my own boundaries and ventured into the world of stand-up comedy. This endeavour brought me unexpected opportunities, including advancing to the quarterfinals of the West End New Act of the Year 2022 competition and hosting at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Festival. I've also graced the stages of renowned venues like the Comedy Store, the Frog and Bucket and preformed for PlayStation, and Buddhafield Festival. These experiences have uniquely equipped me to be an effective speaker, presenter, and podcaster, enabling me to guide my clients in conquering their fear of public speaking.
My background in counselling is a unique asset in my consulting practice. It enables me to establish a strong rapport with clients and create a safe and
supportive environment, fostering
trust and openness. This, in turn, allows clients to share their challenges, fears, and aspirations more freely. These counselling skills facilitate
deeper exploration
and self-reflection for the client, helping them gain insights into their own thoughts, behaviours, and patterns that may be impacting their business performance. With this deeper understanding, I can provide more
personalised and compassionate guidance, tailored to the unique needs of each client.
